Connect to your Destiny
So me, just like any other unemployed young adult spends the better part of my time on the internet. Unlike the general population of these unemployed wankers, I don't spend my data on Brazzers and any other X rated sites, well at least not all the time haha!! I spend time looking at places to go when I grow up (or rather when my wallet grows up, sjui ilikula juala? that thing has refused kabisa) Sometimes I watch videos of people talking to their dogs and taking them for manicures, weuh! the kind of disorders I would like to have, who am I kidding though I talk to Gwen, and that other one I still haven't named yet because I thought someone else should this time. Did I mention they named the cat amigos? But there was a breakdown in communication so when I got to hear of it the name had already mutated to something close to Migos, I think it was migosi(I got memories in that estate, not good ones) So I settled for Migos, yes our cat is cool like that, and since he doesn't spend the nights at home am pretty sure he is out there trapping all night, life of the cat.
Kumbe there's a trade war, I won't go into details Sana because also me I just like most of this clueless Kenyans I do not know too much of tech and the only tech guy I know is in some shop somewhere giving "password" to cashiers and pressing control alt delete on some outdated computers. Anyway that's beside the point. The States...(not United States of Kayole) America, had a ban on Huawei (si mnajua hii simu? mlibuy na bonga points wengine wakabuy na flash sales pale jumia) yes that phone, now they don't have access to Google and Android apps. Ain't that sad? Imagine the phone we grew up laughing at and now we can't afford it? It's even easier to acquire an iPhone than those high end Huawei phones. Kweli mchina halali, anyway those people are too many they are bound to think outside the box(si washajaa kwa hio box).
It's a big blow to the company because now they have to restrategize and come up with something to make them more marketable. My uninformed two cents, that's what you get for competing (and winning) against a dictator like Trump! but anyway these leaders are a true representation of their electorate. (Siasa nimeachia Apo kabla sycophants wanijazie inbox) Well they (the Chinese) will bounce back quicker than you think, like I said they are bound to think outside the box.
In the middle of all these, I get intrigued by some new Nokia in the market (btw mi am a guy of gadgets, shida tu Ni I can't afford them, nangojanga msote hehe or I get refurbs or pre-owned, si lazima ukue mjanja hizi streets) well Nokia have this sick ass smartphones, if you haven't go check them out. Those guys are in the future. But who doesn't know Nokia? 9 out of every 10 households had a Nokia back in the day (zile siku hakuwa na Bamba 20,credo ilikua 500 kupanda) I remember my mum had a 3310( yaani nikikumbuka uyo mama alitoa 12 thousands kununua hio simu nacheka tu) 12 thousands those days was like half a mill you guy!!! Don't argue with me, am not your agemate.
But that phone was indestructible she passed it on to me when she got another one we used to call lipstick (ilikua inakaa tu ya wamama!! waschana izo siku hawakua na pesa ya kununua simu!) Those were the days ulikua unatuma text ukidelete, if you Know you know! hehe! Where was I with this Nokia story? Oooh the 3310, yes that phone was so good on many levels they had to make it again (on that note I think am nostalgic I should get it, nimeona refurbs na Bei ya mkulima wa chini hehe).
That was just an example of how good Nokia was. Eventually they evolved with time and I got the chance to own a few, I still don't understand why they named their phones like weapons though, sjui 5310(express music,si niliingiza waschana box na hii simu! plus I had the best playlist on the entire block, you berra ask sambary!) Mara 2690 Mara x2 sjui N90 Mara E63 (btw nilikua na izo zote na nyinginezo, nasema tu si ati naringa) They became the best phones of that time, Nokia had smartphones before iPhone, yes there I said it. But do you millennials Know there was symbian before iOS and Android? I thought you should know. Those days if you had a Nokia smartphone you were an elite!! and an not talking about izo simu za walimu sjui Nokia Asha no am talking about the real muscles the 808 pure view, the N series, the E series vitu legit. Those were phones you would see in a shop and get a heartattack when you look at their price tag!
Eventually iPhones na ma Galaxy zikatokea zikaua Nokia, paaah we were finished! I held on to my E7 though (I acquired this one through dubious means hehe how could I afford it? Hooow?) I eventually sold it to my friend Roba who gave me a raw deal! (Cheki ka unasoma hii story nirudishie tu io simu ka bado unayo) Android ndo ilikua kusema, so those of us whose parents never owned iPhones tulikua tunaziona tu tukienda funky za cool kids. Those phones were never advertised on telly nor magazines, I even started thinking you had to go to America if you wanted an iPhone hehe(sai zimelala tu apa nauza parts!)
It took a long time time before Nokia came back to the market but when it did,it took the whole continent by storm. You remember Lumia? Yess the windows phone. Nokia made a killing out of those phones, but weren't they the shit? Lumia zikawa simu za intellectuals Sasa, needless to say I had one too... hehe a pre-owned 920. Then as I was preparing to get the 1020.pap my favorite brand died again. How many times has my favorite brand died in this story? I feel like an arsenal fan right now hehe.
Fast forward,Nokia are back and are still connecting people, I saw a sick logo about the same but I will just laugh at it with my girlfriend the rest of you can use your bundles 😂! Needless to say my favorite phone are now on Android. I know deep inside their hearts they are wishing they were first with the Android platform but I know we don't always get what we want, well unless they are working on something else I don't know yet . But from what I gather, as Huawei are developing their own OS, It doesn't matter who had it first,it matters who did it best. Needless to say am in the market for a new Nokia Android phone after my last one was stolen. (si mnirudishie back cover Aki mtapeleka wapi na imeandikwa jina yangu?)
Did I mention Nokia were the first to come up with these folding phones theatrics? yes this things you see on Galaxy fold and that other one for Huawei,Nokia was doing that decades ago don't believe me? Check out the E7,E90, E75, 6820 ,N 93i just to mention afew..now imagine if they came up with the same tech in 2019!! The way I have drummed up support for Nokia on this post ghaaaaii I think I need retribution, Hallooo!! Nokia do you hear me? I can do your phone reviews and be your brand ambassador . I even have the N8 still. Sambary, point me in the right direction.
Basically, we as humans die several deaths inside each time resurrecting as newer and better versions of ourselves, it's a process. It doesn't matter what the first version of you was what matters is the new improved version of you. Do not give up, keep regenerating. In the end people will remember you for the good. I don't know how many times you have to die inside to get to what you really are but I know just as Nokia is connecting people, your regeneration is connecting you to your destiny, do not give up.
In my next life I think I should be a pastor. PS, I was serious about that brand ambassador storo,so if you Know someone who knows someone, please hook a brother up. TIA
