With everything happening today,
You don't know whether you are coming or going but that's just the essence of living. Life is unfathomable, riddled with lots of uncertainty and mystery. So is tomorrow....

But we had yesterday, we were full of ourselves. We thought we knew it all. Our knowledge was just a needle in the haystack....a mere drop of ink in the ocean. And we wallowed in our ignorance because that was the best for us.  Did we stop to think about our kind? They were slowing us down weren't they? They were a hindrance huh? They didn't fit in the picture just right... they stuck out like a sore thumb.... Or the nail that eventually gets a hammer. A cloud of selfishness overcame us. Every man for himself. Resources weren't enough for everyone. So we took each other out without blinking an eye. It was right for the sustainability of "our" people. We couldn't all have the same things. We really had to maintain a status quo. Yet we sank deeper into an abyss of darkness, our pride growing bigger with every inch we fell. Fuck humanity, I will treat them how they treat me...No I will not turn the other cheek.... They must know me by my name....or else what? I will show them who I am...
But vengeance is for the Lord, hadn't we become lords ourselves? We had conquered the land and everything that lived in it.

But the past is a reference point, no need to cry over spilt milk...we have today. We look around and though the truth is a bitter pill to swallow, eventually we shall realize.....We fucked up! We fucked up square and square. But doesn't shit happen? Yes it does and when it does it stinks like a mothafucka!!
So where do we go from here?...The clean up.
We shall mend the fences we shall reach into our souls we shall not rely on our own intuition. We shall admit we fucked up, we shall swallow our pride.... and we shall apologize. We shall apologize to each other, we shall seek the Lord and plead with him to wash our hearts white as snow. Then we shall reach out to our fathers, we by now shall understand them. We will not question, we will accept their choices. We will hold our brothers hands we shall look into their souls and promise to love them regardless. We shall turn to our mothers, we shall by now understand they only wanted the best for us. We shall by now understand their silent prayers and their dearest desires. We shall protect our wives and daughters, we shall love them with our lives. We will swear never to lift a finger towards them and we shall reach out to our sons , if they want us in their lives or not. We shall teach them everything we have had to learn by ourselves. We shall hold their hands and lead them to the change we need them to become.

And together, together we shall make the world a better place.And we shall work towards a better tomorrow , after we achieve that we shall pride ourselves in being part of the change....

Let's just hope we still have time......
